NORTH SMITHFIELD, RI – TODAY, Congressman Gabe Amo (D-RI) delivered $500,000 in federal Community Project Funding to improve communication systems at the North Smithfield Police Department. The funds Amo secured will empower the Department to make critical updates to communication equipment, enhancing public safety in North Smithfield by upgrading outdated systems and improving real-time coordination among officers, regional partners, and the public.
