WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressmen Seth Magaziner and Gabe Amo today announced that ten Rhode Island-based organizations and projects have been awarded a total of $275,000 in grant funding from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) to help strengthen and expand the state’s arts and cultural ecosystem.

WASHINGTON, DC – This week, heavy rain and snowmelt has caused significant flooding across Rhode Island.  Some residents were forced to evacuate by boats or with the assistance of firefighters and have been displaced into emergency evacuation facilities.

TIVERTON, RI – In an effort to enhance public safety, U.S. Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Congressman Gabe Amo today announced a new federal grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Community Facilities Grant Program which will enable the town of Tiverton to acquire four new police vehicles.
